Culture Connections

Help a newcomer adapt to Canadian life

APPLY ONLINE

Spend two hours a week helping a newcomer learn about Canadian culture, history and lifestyles; participate in their community; connect with local new people and improve their English.

Hosts are matched with a newcomer and meet for two hours once a week for three months. You're welcome to attend our entertaining “Culture & Conversation" nights each month.

You can volunteer as a host if you have leadership experience, are responsible, empathetic and patient, familiar with Canadian life, fluent in English (accents welcome), and aged 19 or over.
