Newcomer Youth (NuYu) Theatre Project

Imagine... meeting cool youth like you, making new friends, spending time doing creative, interactive and fun activities. Learning tools to express yourself and being more seen and heard in your school and community.

And… you also get snacks and bus tickets at each session.

The NuYu project is a place where youth get to use their life experience to create a play. The play encourages conversation between audience and actors and is a way to look at challenges and try to figure out possible solutions. In the training sessions, you play lots of games, talk a bit about your life, and create theatre scenes with other youth.
